Old MacDonald has thrown open a rather unusual part of his farm for the enjoyment of park guests. ‘There’s something in the Dung Heap’ is a playground which features everything you’d expect from a ‘dung’ experience and more, with attractions aimed at all member of the family. The play area is largely split into four different areas aimed at different heights and age groups, connected by a central plaza in which parents can relax and take the weight off while their youngsters enjoy themselves. The four interactive play areas include:-

The Soil Albug Hall has flies buzzing around this palace of poop which forms the entrance to the Dung Heap. The only undercover part of the playground, the hall features a Creepy Crawly Basharound, an interactive bug floor where kids (young or old) can chase a multitude of bugs, which react to your every movement.

Mr Mushroom's Magic Maze sits just outside the Soil Albug Hall. Mr Mushroom has hidden himself at the heart of this labyrinth of fences. Dare you venture in and see if you can find this jolly character? If you do find him try pressing his buttons to see what jewels of wisdom he might dispense. All are welcome to have a go at the maze, though taller guests might find they have a slight advantage.

The Toxic Bog is the area aimed at younger guests, with a height restriction of 0.9m-1.4m. The area is perfect for those that love to slip and slide or bounce and balance featuring a bunch of Teetering Toadstool Boingupons, as well as Jumping Gerberas and a slide into the bog itself. It is also home to the Wobbly Walk, a rotating beam with height restriction of 1.1m-1.4m.

Cobweb Capers is the final area of the Dung Heap and is aimed at slightly older children, with a height restriction of 1.1m-1.4m. A spider's Springy Cobweb Climbing zone can be found at the heart of this area, alternatively kids can test their airborne agility with a zip along a silken zip wire.
