It's time to face your Nemesis! This beast of a ride is the last word in thrill rides, sitting deep within it's pit willing to make prey of anyone who ventures too near.
The ride is based around a being, disturbed during routine maintenance work within Forbidden Valley. A monster so powerful it created a large hole in the Staffordshire countryside and has had to be pinned down with hundreds of tonnes of steel, creating the Nemesis we know today.
It is partly due to the marvellous theming and storyline which make Nemesis so different to other roller coasters throughout the world, another dimension has been added to the ride by setting it deep in the ground and making the ride twist around the station, themed as the monster.
Because the ride is hidden in a valley the first time you see the ride properly is when you are about to join the queue and an immense anticipation is created by simply walking towards the ride itself. Indeed for first time riders you really don't know what to expect when you turn the corner.
